Courses

Just now we can offer you English courses for children at four levels.

We offer courses for children and students from Aarau and the surrounding area. If you are interested in one of our primary courses please get in touch with us.

General information on the courses

• Half-year course, one lesson a week (50 minutes)
• Story-based primary course, emphasis on developing children’s listening comprehension and speaking skills as well as TPR (Total Physical Response) and NLP
• Language: Oxford English, if necessary some explanations in German
• Groups:private, half-private (2-3 children), small class (4-6 children)
• To learn successfully, regular attendance is advisable for both the child and the group
• There is a little home work, e.g. to finish colouring or to cut out some bits and pieces
• Costs: sFr. 20.- - sFr. 25.- per child and lesson in groups, plus books (approx.sFr. 40.- per year). The fee is payable in advance per half year.
• Our aim is that your child learns the English language in a positive and motivating way.

If you look through the book you will find stories, songs, rhymes and social games. Every unit starts with an interesting story. The stories in the units take place to England and involve the English way of life (Halloween, Christmas, schools). Great Britain is so near but still quite different!
